Minister Baby holds talks with Film unions

Thiruvananthapuram, Friday 28 May 2010: The state government has put on hold one of the long-standing demands of the ailing film industry- to slash entertainment tax.

After discussion with various film unions in the state here on Thursday night, Cultural Affairs Minister M.A Baby said that the government was able to reach a consensus with the film unions. He said that the final decision on the recommendations made by the high level committee to solve the crisis in film industry would be taken on June 15.
