Kochi, Friday 26 November 2010: Minister of State for Railways, E Ahamed, will flag off the inaugural special of Ernakulam-Pune Bi-weekly Super Fast Express at a function here tomorrow.

Union Minister of state for Agriculture, K V Thomas, will preside over the function. M Vijayakumar, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Tony Chammany, Mayor of Cochin, P Rajeeve, MP, Charles Dias, MP, Dominic Presentation, MLA, V K Ebrahim Kunju, MLA, will be among those participating, a Southern Railway release said.

Train No.2519/2520 Ernakulam-Pune-Ernakulam Bi-weekly Super fast express will leave Ernakulam on Tuesdays and Fridays at 05.15 hrs and will reach Pune at 05.50 hrs, next day From Pune this train will leave on Sundays and Wednesdays at 18.45 hrs and will reach Ernakulam Junction at 19.00 hrs next day.

This train will have stoppages at Shoranur, Kozhikode, Kannur, Mangalore JN, Madgaon, Savanthavadi Road and Panvel Road. Ahamed will also inaugurate a new booking office at Ernakulam Town tomorrow.

The regular service of Train No.2519 Ernakulam-Pune Bi-weekly super fast express will commence from Ernakulam on Nov 30. Train No2520 Pune-Ernakulam super fast express will commence its regular run from Pune on Nov 28. Advance reservation for the above trains will commence tomorrow.
