Thrissur, Sunday 27 February 2011: Revenue Minister K.P. Rajendran inaugurated ‘Harita Manappuram’, a project aimed at inclusive development of 12 coastal panchayats in the district.

The objective of the project was to ensure food security, employment and health security for the people living in the coastal villages under Mathilakam and Thalikulam block panchayats. Clusters of industrial units for food processing and information technology would be set up under the project.
