Malappuram, Sunday, May 29, 2011: The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) today decided to stick on to their demand of having a fifth ministerial berth in the Oommen Chandy cabinet. They decided not to abandon it as it was announced by their chief Panakkad Hyderaili Shihab Thangal.

The meeting assessed that they deserve the fifth ministerial post as they are the second biggest constituent of the alliance. A final decision will be taken at the UDF meet to be convened tomorrow, said party state general secretary P K Kunhalikutty.
