Thiruvananthapuram, Friday, October 16, 2009: Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan criticized Tamil Nadu government for isolating Union Minister Jairam Ramesh for his consent in the dam survey at Mullaperiyar.

Chief Minister said that Tamil Nadu’s stance towards center in the Mullaperiyar dam issue has been shocking. The center should not back out from the decision despite the disparity of Tamil Nadu. Chief Minister also added that Karunanidhi should never try to ruin the pleasant relationship between neighboring states.
