Kozhikode, Saturday, July 16, 2011: Union Minister of State for Home Mullappally Ramachandran on Saturday expressed satisfaction in the ongoing investigation into Wednesday’s serial blasts in Mumbai that killed 19 persons.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function in Kozhikode, Ramachandran said that the government was monitoring the activities of some organizations and individuals in Kerala, who allegedly have close links with extremist forces.
“If you ask me whether there is any organization with terrorist link in Kerala, then I cannot say no,” he said. The probe by Maharashtra ATS and Central agencies into the blasts was progressing, he said.
The triple blasts at Zaveri Bazaar, Opera House and Dadar had left more than 130 people injured.
