Munnar, Friday, August 27, 2010: The time period allotted to the State government by the High Court for the eviction of the illegal land encroachments in Munnar, would expire on 31st of this month. The State government has stepped up measures for evicting the illegal land encroachers in Munnar and is most likely to go forward with the eviction measures within two days.

The CPI (M) State secretary P.K Shasindran has informed that they would strongly restrain the government’s measures to forcefully evict the land encroachers from the land in Munnar.
