Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday, March 10, 2010: Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, state Tourism Minister has informed that, the master plan intended for the development of tourism in Munnar is in its final making.

Marayoor, Bison valley, Maankulam, Shanthanpara panchayats have also been included in the master plan. The basic infrastructure of other tourism centres would be developed learning from the Munnar master plan.

In a bid to protect and conserve various tourism centres separate tourism zones would be formed. Kovalam, Kumarakom, Fort Kochi, Munnar etc have been included in this, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan added.
