Thiruvananthapuram, Saturday, November 21, 2009: Supporting the admission of K Muralidharan back into Congress fold, Union Overseas Minister Vayalar Ravi said, K Muralidharan would be inducted back only after unanimity among Congress members have been achieved. Vayalar Ravi said, regarding Muralidharan’s re-entry he has the same opinion as that of Defence Minister AK Antony.
After visiting K Karunakaran who is recovering in hospital, talking to media persons Vayalar Ravi said, Muralidharan should win the confidence of party followers. If Muralidharan is re admitted to the party after everyone’s acceptance, it will benefit him.
Vayalar Ravi also advised that, Muralidharan should return to party only when there is a favourable situation for him in the party.
K. Muralidharan, 54, former KPCC president and son of ailing senior Congress leader K.Karunakaran, 92, has been knocking the doors of Congress ever since, the senior Congress leaders gave positive signals on his re –entry.
