New Delhi, Saturday, November 07, 2009: Thrashing the hopes of veteran Congress leader K Karunakaran, AICC general secretary Mohsina Kidwai contradicting Leader K Karunakaran’s statements said, the sole authority to decide over K Muralidharan’s return would be KPCC and that has been the Congress tradition for years.

Lauding Mullappally Ramachandran’s statements that, Muralidharan should be taken back into party fold; K Karunakaran had said that, no body could stop Muralidharan’s induction into Congress.

Meanwhile leader of opposition Oommen Chandy had said that, the party hasn’t so far decided the return of Muralidharan
