Kannur, Sunday 22 November 2009: Police arrested Manoj, a native of Bharanikkavu near Kayamkulam, and Karthik, hailing from Eattumanoor, for carrying out an e-mail campaign to tarnish the image of CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan.

The accused had transmitted many pictures of a bungalow in Malappuram claiming to be of Pinarayi Vijayan.

The Cybercell, headed by I G Tomin Thachankari, nabbed the two following a complaint from Pinaryi Vijayan.
