Payyannur, Kannur Wednesday 7 January 2009: Indian navy’s Ezhimala naval academy, regarded as the biggest officers’ training institution in Asia, would be dedicated to the nation by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh tomorrow.
Apart from the Prime Minister, Union Minister A K Antony, Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan and many others will attend the function. Security has been beefed up in Ezhimala following the inauguration. The venue for the inaugural ceremony will be able to accommodate only people less than three hundred.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Defence Minister A K Antony and the chief minister will arrive in a special flight from Kozhikode. After the inaugural function at 2.45 pm, the prime minister will meet media persons and leave by 3.50 pm.
