Kochi, Wednesday, 07 July 2010: A high official of Navy was killed in an accidental firing at INS Dronacharya, here in Southern Naval Headquarters. The deceased was identified as Southern Naval Command chief Rear Admiral S.S Jamwal(50).

The Naval sources had informed that he was killed in a firing by mistake in between a practice, at the shooting range of INS Dronacharya, says the report.

The officer, who hailed from Jammu, had been staying with his family at Kochi.More details awaited
