New Delhi, Sunday, December 27, 2009: Issuing serious allegations against the federal agency NIA, Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan asked why the agency is enthusiastic to take up cases in Kerala leaving even more high profile cases like the Bangalore, Surat and Ahmedabad blast cases.
The ongoing investigation is a threat to the federal system of the country. It could endanger the rights of state government Kodiyeri said in New Delhi.
All ready the state police have completed its investigations into terror cases and charge sheet has been filed, now court’s consent is needed for further investigations. The center has so far send no intimation on this regard to Kerala government.
The center is showing double face attitude, the state government had demanded a CBI inquiry into the Maradu riot case three times, which was turned down by the central government, the center has vested interested regarding taking up cases.
