Kochi, Friday, 25 June 2010: NIA Special Court today strongly condemned the exposure of the terror accused in front of media. The Court advised that such accused should be brought from prison with their faces masked, the Jail authorities should remain vigil about the matter, it added.
It also opined that exposure of the accused while gathering evidence may adversely affect the case. The Court observed its views on account of NIA’s complaint following Thadiyentavida Nazir’s byte to the media regarding Bangalore blast case.

The National Investigating Agency (NIA) told that the accused involved in terror cases should not speak to the media. They said presenting Thadiyantevida Nazir in front of the media and channels airing his face not covered should be considered seriously.
Nazir had yesterday revealed before the media that he had not given any statements against Maudani during interrogation in Bangalore. The act of producing Nazir before the media in the court premises should be suspected, NIA informed the CBI court
