Thiruvananthapuram, Thursday, June 24, 2010: FREES, an online software developed by the National Informatics Centre has been launched at the FRIENDS centre by Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan today. Chief Minister added that the government’s aim was to provide more facilities to the public.

FREES software enables departments to download details of payments made at FRIENDS centre. CM added that this software would enable organisations such as the Motor Vehicles Department, the City Corporation and the Kerala Water Authority to directly download details of bill payments at the FRIENDS counters.
