Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday, July 20, 2011: CPM-led LDF Opposition in Kerala on Wednesday staged a walkout from the Assembly in protest against Speaker G Karthikeyan’s refusal to entertain their adjournment motion on chemical fertilizer price hike.

Former Agricultural Minister, Mullakkara Ratnakaran presented the emergency resolution pointing out that the price hike of chemical fertilizer is posing great difficulties for the farmers.
