Thiruvananthapuram, Friday, March 19, 2010: The Kerala State Revenue Minister today told in the Assembly that, even though the paddy field conservation act has been passed the farm lands in the state still is on the verge of extinction.
After the commencing of the paddy field conservation act around 808 cases has been registered and the prohibitory order was issued, he added. He told that the Revenue and Agricultural departments would join together and implement strict actions against the destruction of farmlands in Kerala.
