Kollam, Monday, January 24, 2011: Fire broke out today in a paint shop near Chinnakada, the major commercial area in Kollam District.

The shop has been completely destroyed. The incident occurred around 3pm. Fire Force rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire.

According to preliminary reports, short circuit can be the reason for fire. Traffic was disrupted for almost two hours following the incident.
