Kochi, Friday, 21 May 2010: Government likely to give explanation in High Court regarding the progress of investigation in connection with the custodial death of Sampath, prime accused of Puthur Sheela muder, today. The Court had earlier on Wednesday while considering the plea of Murukesh (Sampath’s brother), observed that the CBI probe would be appropriate in the case.

Justice V.Ram kumar had also opined that in this case a fair probe from the side of Police can’t be expected. The government’s affidavit would be a reply in this regard
