Thiruvananthapuram, Tuesday 06 July 2010: Finance Minister and in-charge of PWD TM Thomas Isaac informed the assembly that the Chief Minister would shortly convene an all-party meet to discuss NH expansion.

Answering to the questions raised during the question hour, Isaac pointed out that only certain fringe groups are against the expansion process and none of the mainstream political parties oppose the move. The Minister urged all political parties to unite against such forces.

Thomas Isaac informed that the draft for road expansion in the state is complete. The road to the proposed Kannur Airport would be complete before the completion of construction works of the airport.
