Paul murder: Police findings can’t be excluded says CBI

Kochi, Friday, March 19, 2010: The police findings in the Muthoot Paul .M. George murder case cannot be fully excluded, CBI told while the bail plea of the 8th accused in the case, Nibin Thomas was going on in the court. The decision to hand over the Paul murder case from the state police to CBI was made by the High court. Nibin Thomas’ bail plea was postponed by Justice K.T Shankar.

This is the first time that the CBI has ever agreed with the Kerala police regarding this murder case. The CBI had earlier mentioned in the Ernakulam CJM court that there would be flaws in the case investigation by the State police.

CBI had mentioned in the court earlier that, the weapon which was found out by the Kerala police as fake.
