Thiruvananthapuram, Tuesday, June 08, 2010: The Kerala Congress Thomas group chairman P.C Thomas today told that the CPI’s decision to support P.C Thomas group’s entry to LDF was a positive move. Thomas added that he was optimistic on the Kerala Congress’ entry to LDF leadership.

The CPI and RSP leaders declared that they wouldn’t oppose the P.C Thomas group’s entry to LDF leadership. The CPI State secretary Veliyam Bhargavan had told that the CPI wouldn’t oppose Kerala Congress P.C Thomas group’s entry to LDF.

The RSP State secretary V.P Ramakrishna Pillai had also expressed their positive stance regarding the Thomas group’s entry. Ramakrishna Pillai added that the decision regarding this would be taken anonymously inside the party.

Veliyam added that the party has not yet decided over the acceptance of NCP to LDF. Veliyam asserted that the LDF meeting, which would be held on July 6th, would discuss the matters regarding the inclusion of Kerala Congress and NCP to LDF.
