Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday, September 03, 2008: Clarifying his stand on the high profile NRI business man Pharis Aboobakkar, Chief Minister VS Achuthanadan said, Pharis Aboobakkar still remains the ‘most’ hated person for him. Chief Minister added that he hasn’t received any report to change that notion. Chief Minister was answering to the queries raised by scribes on the recent party report, which suggested that the Chief Minister should not have made such a statement.
When asked about the water exploitation in the Rs.250 Vismaya amusement park, a brainchild of Achuthanandan’s archrival and CPM state secretary Pinnarayi Vijayan.and is promoted by the Communist Party of India (Marxist) in Kannur, Chief minister said the report will scrutinised. Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan, as opposition leader in 2001-06, was critical of amusement parks as they draw huge amounts of water for their use.
