Pinarayi denies media censorship in state

Kochi, Sunday, November 01, 2009: Dismissing allegations of media censorship in state, CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan said that the information would be made available to media through PRD in a professional manner. This can’t be named as media censorship by anyways, Pinarayi added.

Speaking to media persons at press club here, Pinarayi alleged that UDF had lost their bogus votes in Kannur. If they had lost genuine votes, they would have raised uproars already, he added. The hidden agenda behind demanding central force in Kannur is to change the image of district entirely. They create clamors before every election, Pinarayi rebuked.

Responding to the questions on ASEAN, Pinarayi alleged that UPA government had betrayed the people in Kerala. The officials hadn’t conveyed any information on including talks about negative list during discussion with the ASEAN countries. The people would soon realize their mistake for trusting UPA government.

However, Pinarayi refused to answer questions regarding ‘love jihad’.
