Kasaragod, Monday, November 23, 2009: Scoffing off at United Democratic Front, CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan said, the government would not be deterred with the accusations made by UDF and would go ahead with the present investigation.
Pinarayi Vijayan accused Oommeen Chandy of taking a stance supporting violence.
Supporting the police action taken during the violence Pinarayi Viajayn said, if police had not intervened, the violence would have worsened. Pinarayi Vijayan added that, responsible leaders like Oommen Chandy should not encourage violence.
