Kozhikode, Thursday, 01 July 2010: CPM State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan today opined here that High Court’s ban on public meetings by the roadsides was quite impractical. Extending his support to senior CPM leader Jayarajan, Pinarayi insisted that he was pointing out this impracticalness. He said this in his inaugural speech of the CPM local committee office in Cheruvanoor
Showing disregard to the Judiciary was never the stance of CPM, they just pointed out and protested against the defects in court verdicts. Before issuing such an order the opinion of the government should have been sought, said Pinarayi.
