Kochi, Thursday, June 09, 2011: The Kerala High Court on Thursday made it clear that it would not intervene in the decision of Milma to hike milk prices. The court said so while considering the plea filed by Milma challenging the stay imposed by Director of Dairy Development Department against hike in milk price.

Milma had earlier decided to raise the price of milk by Rs 5 per litre. Milma Chairman PT Gopala Kurup had pointed out that the production cost has gone beyond control and hence left with no option but to go for a hike in the milk price.
