Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday, February 29, 2012: Leaders from all political parties and community organisations said that Kerala had lost an eminent public figure in the death of PK Narayana Panicker.
In his condolence message, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said that Narayana Panicker is a leader widely respected by the people of Kerala.
KPCC Chief Ramesh Chennithala has said that his passing away will create a void in the secular fabric of the state. He was one who maintained a cordial relationship with all, Chennithala said.
Kerala Governor HR Bharadwaj in his message said that he was shocked and saddened at the demise of Panicker. A Gandhian all his life and a seasoned politician, he served the State with utmost devotion.
