Kottayam, Thursday, June 17, 2010: The Opposition leader Oommen Chandy today told that the police had failed to provide security for the CMS College. Chandy was reflecting on the violent strike staged by SFI in CMS College, Kottayam yesterday.

Oommen Chandy added that the he had conversation with State Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan over the matters regarding the violence that occurred in CMS College, and that he had asked Kodiyeri to take stringent action against the accused. Chandy also visited CMS College.
