Palakkad, Thursday 19 August 2010: Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan informed that a police training centre would be started at Kochi in co-operation with law university. He was speaking in the passing-out parade of KAP second battalion. Kodiyeri added that primary talks for the purpose are underway.

He added that service police would be formed by the year-end by combining the reserve and local polices. Kodiyeri urged the police personnel to work taking the common man into confidence.
