Thiruvananthapuram, Tuesday, May 17, 2011: A meeting of the CPM secretariat and the state committee for analyzing the poll results of CPM Legislature party will be held from May 23rd. The CPM state secretariat would meet on 23 and 24, while the state committee will meet on 25 and 26, party sources said.

CPM general secretary Prakash Karat will attend the party secretariat meeting. Decision on the Opposition leader will be taken in next week’s meeting. Formal announcement of VS Achuthanandan as the opposition leader would be made after these meetings.
