Thiruvananthapuram, Saturday, May 15, 2010: The State Water resources minister N.K Premachandran told today that all the departments of the state must be unified for the implementation of big projects. Minister was speaking to the media after his visit to the Aruvikkara reservoir as a part of the commissioning of Japan water scheme.
Premachandran added that the project could be finished in the specified tenure if all the departments are unified. Minister asserted that as a part of the study conducted by the Energy management centre power audit would be implemented in the water authority department.
Minister said that by commissioning the first phase of the Japan water scheme the drinking water could be supplied to all parts of the city including Vattiyoorkkavu, Paudikkonam, Sreekaraym panchayats.
