Thiruvananthapuram, Saturday, January 24, 2009: Breaking his silence finally over the SNC Lavalin scam CPM State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan who has been placed as the ninth accused in the case by CBI said, public cannot e fooled by such allegations, speaking at a seminar organized by Secretariat Employees Association, Pinarayi Vijayan said, there have been attempts in the past both within the country and internationally to tarnish the image of CPM by Congress by faking such case.
Even USA has once conspired to overthrow the first democratically elected Marxist Government in Kerala.

Mr Vijayan better not try bring in USA into this small affair. The Government of the USA for many many years has consistently been attempting to bring down Communist governments throughout the world, and for all you know, have been fairly successful at it.
Bye the bye, China which is supposed to be the largest “communist country” today, is no longer Communist, unless you want to limit Communism to flying a red flag.
Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan is a great leader of the masses. He has done lot of good things for the public. Now this allegation tarnishes his image. He has to come out from this allegation successfully to lead the people. I hope that he will come out from this allegation successfully. For that he must produce all the evidence in front of the law. Then his image will rise to a level that will shut the mouth of all who tries to victimise him.
politians & religious leaders always try to fool people for their existance. They have to make money & live in all comforts at the expense of poor masses without doing any constructive job,at the sametime trying to create hatred among various people for their gain.
At the time when CBI enquiry was ordered Mr. Pinarai challenged that he is ready to face any kind of enquiry. If he is still on that stand, it is better to gooperate with the enquiry patiently.
