Thiruvananthapuram, Sunday 07 February 2010: The second round of Pulse Polio immunisation will be held on Sunday when 2,66,615 children below the age of five will be the target group for administering the oral polio vaccine in the district.

Booths have been readied in all government and private hospitals, public places such as the airport and the railway and bus stations and anganwadis. At the district-level, Director of Health Services M.K. Jeevan will inaugurate the programme at the Government Fort hospital.
