Thrissur, Friday, July 30, 2010: The private bus owners of Thrissur district are today holding a strike alleging that the KSRTC was conducting chain services in the district without maintaining a proper time schedule. The strike is being held by the Labour union and private bus owners jointly.

The private bus owners allege that due to the services operated by the KSRTC in the Chalakkudy- Irinjalakkuda, Thrissur- Palakkad and Ernakulam –Guruvayur route, the private bus owners were facing huge loss. The bus owners told that although a complaint was filed to the Transport minister against this issue, the problem remain still unresolved.
