According to meteorology sources here, the chief amounts if rainfall reports in cm are: Aluva 6, Kodungallur, Thodupuzha & Vadakara register 4 cm each. Chalakudi, Erinjalakuda, Cherthala, Idukki, Erikkur & Perumad register 3 cm each.

Forecast valid until the morning of Sept 14: Rain or thunder showers will occur at many places in Kerala and at isolated places in Lakshadweep.

Heavy rain fall warning: Isolated heavy rainfall will occur in Kerala during the next 48 hours.

Fishermen warning: Strong onshore winds from north westerly direction speed occasionally reaching 45-55 KMPH is likely along off Kerala coast and over Lakshadweep area during next 24 hours.
