Thiruvananthapuram, Sunday, 22 January 2012: The police today arrested a person, who allegedly sexually harassed a twelve-year-old-girl near Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday evening. Police identified the accused as Benser, native of Kannanthura.

The girl was subjected to sexual harassment by her stepfather for the past few years. But it came to light only early this month when the teachers developed doubts about the behaviour of the girl, following which they informed the police with the help of Childline.
