Thrissur, Wednesday, October 28th 2009 : Friction tears the fabric of the KGMCTA, as many units have decided to withdraw from the strike held by the government medical college doctors. The Thrissur and Thiruvananthapuram units would speak out about their stance on the withdrawal from the strike .
It has been said that the Kozhikode and Alappuzha units would likely back off from the strike till November 15th. The units discouraging the strike would express their opinion in the association’s Central Executive meet to be held at Kochi, tomorrow. Meanwhile, the KGMCTA had ruled out any kind of friction within the association regarding the strike.
However, around two hundred doctors of the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College had decided to withdraw from the non-cooperation strike. The Doctors presented a joint memorandum signed by them to the Health Minister PK Sreemath,i today.
