Four member family looted in train

Alappuzha, Sunday 10 May 2009: A four member family was looted in train when they were traveling from Andhra Pradesh to Shorannur. The robbery happened after giving drugs to them.

The victims of robbery have been identified as Moosa, his wife Subaidha, their daughters Mubeena and Muhsina natives of Shorannur. They were admitted to general hospital, Alappuzha.

Moosa was running a teashop at Singrayi Kondra and his youngest daughter was studying in standard 10. After receiving the result of class 10, they were returning to Moosa’s hometown Shorannur.

According to the accounts given by the other passengers, some Tamil people who were accompanying the family gave them mango juice. After drinking it, all of them dipped into deep sleep.

The fellow passengers informed the Eranakulam railway police station and the officials shifted them to hospital.
