Thiruvananthapuram, Friday 12 June 2009: RSP called for an urgent state secretariat meeting in the wake of new changes that had occurred in the SNC Lavalin case. The meeting was earlier fixed to be held on June 18.
The meeting will discuss the aftereffects of controversies that had occurred after the Governor’s approval for the prosecution of CPM State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan and will form party’s stand in this issue.
Earlier Water Resources Minister N K Premachandran has said that his party has a clear opinion on the SNC Lavalin issue and will be expressed when it gets an opportunity.
Replying to media persons’ query he said that the official stand will be made clear after the RSP central committee meeting on June 18 and if needed a meeting would be convened before that.
