Thiruvananthapuram, Thursday 08 July 2010: A retired police officer died on Wednesday night after a car knocked him down near Museum. The deceased was identified as retired Circle Inspector of Police K.P Mohan Kumar, 57, of Sreekanteswaram.

According to sources, Mohan was walking on the footpath near Museum on Wednesday night when a car, which lost control, knocked him down. He died on the spot.
