Thiruvananthapuram, Tuesday, January 31, 2012: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said that the Government will try to complete the Sabarimala Master Plan before the next festive season.
He said this soon after the meet convened to evaluate this year’s functioning of the mandala season. Approval will be given to all roads connected to the project. Hope to complete the plan before the next season as land for the project has been obtained, Chandy said.
The government has decided to provide five acres of land to four states as part of developmental programmes. Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka have informed their favourable stand on it.
The Andhra Government has granted Rs 5 crores for work on the land. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister will directly evaluate the construction.
