Palakkad, Wednesday, February 02, 2011: The relatives of Saseendran, the former company secretary of Malabar Cements Limited, gave a letter to Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan seeking a CBI probe into the death of Saseendran and his children.

Meanwhile, the Police investigation in connection with the death of Saseendran has entered its final stages.

Saseendran’s wife Teena had earlier stated that contractor VM Radhakrishnan had threatened Saseendran with regard to corruption in Malabar Cements Limited but the Police did not register any case.

There are allegations that the Police, which conducted the first level investigation, tried to destroy the evidences. Teena said that Police compelled her to sign a statement stating the death was a suicide and that she had no complaints.
