Police begins probe on PFI secret conclave in TN  

Thiruvananthapuram, Sunday 18 July 2010: Kerala police today received information that a secret meet of the Popular Front of India (PFI) is being assembled in Thakkala on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border at a time when raids are being carried out in the offices of the organization in connection with the attack on the lecturer in Moovattupuzha.

The meet is being held at Thakkala. The state police as soon as they received information passed it on to the Tamil Nadu police.

Initial reports said the meet would hold discussions on the attack on the lecturer and the raids conducted in their centres.
