Thiruvananthapuram, Thursday, March 11, 2010: A secretariat march was held in State capital today against the BOT route for stretching the NH 47. Congress leader V.M Sudheeran inaugurated the march. The NH 47 and NH 17 State action forum members and members of other political parties were present for the march. The protestors alleged that, there were flaws regarding the NH 47 road widening and it must be corrected.

The protestors demanded to withdraw the BOT route since it was made to help the land mafias, they requested for an inquiry about the malpractices regarding the road widening in the State highway project and to reduce the road width to 30 meters.
