Pulpalli, Tuesday 22 June 2010: A shop owner commited suicide after hacking woman employee in his fancy shop to death. Nisha, 19 who was working in the fancy shop in Perkaloor, was hacked to death at her house by the owner of the shop Robin (Vendappan-38) from Pulpalli and Robin committed suicide in the same house.

Natives reported that the shop owner and girl were not in the place for last one week and they returned on Sunday. Robin is also a trader in the fish and meat market in Vadanakvala.
