Thiruvananthapuram, Monday, November 16, 2009: A crucial meeting of the Left Democratic Front would be held on 7th and 8th of this month to discuss and give a final shape to the single-window system, created recently at the behest of the CPM central leadership, which wanted the party-ruled state to catch upon investment.

Today’s meet approved major recommendations made in the CPM guideline on various development projects and co ordination among government departments to carry out progressive works. The meet decided to implement housing projects, employment security projects time bound and effective way.

A code of conduct has also been put into effect, according to which the ministers should be present in the capital on four days in a week, Cabinet decisions should be confidential, and ministers should abstain from controversial statements.
