Just. S Sirijagan denies ‘anti- Govt’ remarks  

Kochi, Monday, August 02, 2010: Kerala High Court Justice S. Sirijagan today told that he had not passed any unruly remarks against the State government. Sirijagan added that the medias had misinterpreted his statements and that such type of reporting was not suitable for the ethics of journalism.

The medias had earlier reported that Justice S. Sirijagan had severely criticized the State government by saying that it was under mafia control. The alleged remark made by Sirijagan had caused much hubbub. The government had also expressed their dissatisfaction over the alleged remark.

Earlier report: -

The Advocate General C.P Sudhakara Prasad had earlier informed the High Court Chief Justice, J. Chalameswar that the remarks passed by the Justice S. Sirijagan against the State government was untimely. The government had adviced the Advocate General to inform the government’s dissatisfaction to the HC Chief Justice.

Advocate General added that the frequent remarks passed by the Judges against the State government was unfortunate.
