Kannur, Sunday 07 June 2009: Two sisters lost their lives when a compound wall fell on them near Chokli here on Saturday.

The police identified the victims as Ashwini, 13, and her sister, Ajanya, 9, daughters of Muraleedharan of Karyad. They were studying in Class VIII and Class V respectively at K.N. U.P. School at Karyad. heir cousin, Reshma, 19, who accompanied them, suffered grievous injuries in the accident.
